The scope of work of a Gunite contractor shall include and be limited to the proportioning and application of concrete to existing surfaces by pneumatic or hydraulic methods, chipping loose concrete, the sandblasting and cleaning of reinforcements, the batching and proportioning of cement, sand, and water, erecting the forms and formwork to which concrete is to be applied pneumatically or hydraulically; the placement of cement and intergrout by pneumatic or hydraulic pumping methods by which, under an agreed specification, subsurface load-bearing capacities can be stabilized, or previously settled structures raised or restored to plumb, grade or alignment.
