A Miami Dade County Plant Construction Engineer Contractor is an engineering contractor who has a qualifying agent with the experience and skill gained but not less than three (3) years as a general superintendent for a general building or general engineering contractor or education equivalent thereto, or a combination thereof, and certified to construct and properly supervise, direct and coordinate the construction of buildings, plants and other structures which are incidental to water treatment plants, sewage treatment plants, pumping and lift stations, power generating plants and sub-station, including the equipment and piping installation (except the exclusive work of an electrical contractor) and placing therein in connection with the purpose for which the structure is being erected. A plant construction engineering contractor may perform the work of a pile driving and foundation engineering contractor.
