- Notarized letters from the employer describing duties and specific dates of the work done, if the applicant has never been registered in an apprenticeship program
- For military service experience and training related to this application, contact the CT Department of Labor at (860) 263-6128 to request a recommendation
- When applying for equivalent experience and training, including all documentation that demonstrates experience and training for this license type:
  - For Solar Thermal Limited Journeyperson (STC-2) license equivalency, applicants holding out-of-state license(s) shall provide:
    - Copy of each out-of-state elevator journeyperson license, currently active
    - Notarized/certified letter from each state indicating good standing with the issuing board and the date that the license was initially issued
    - If licenses in multiple states are held, provide proof of at least one of those state's requirements that meet or exceed those of the trade
    - Proof of successfully completed registered Apprenticeship Program from the DOL, including on the job training (OJT) and related instruction
Schedule the Solar Thermal Limited Journeyperson (STC-2) administered by PSI© in the desired location and time and pay the examination fee after receiving the DCP examination approval (the exam must be taken within one year from the date of approval):
