Types of Permits

The City of North Port has multiple Permits for different Trades.

• Application for a Permit

Fees

The Permit Cost is based on the Permit Type, also additional fees may be applied based on Application Type, Plan Review, and Required Inspections.

Contractor Registration

• Contractors must be registered with the City of North Port.
• You have to provide a copy of your State or County license.
• Authorized Agent Form (for anyone doing permitting other than qualifier).
• A Copy of the qualifier’s driver’s license.
• A Copy of current Worker’s Compensation (or exemption).
