The scope of work of a Class "CP" specialty building contractor shall include and be limited to the placing and finishing of concrete, mixing or batching of concrete, including flatwork (slabs on grade, sidewalks, etc.), cutting and coring of concrete, and concrete pumping. In order to be eligible to be certified as a Class "CP" specialty building contractor by the board, the applicant shall have at least two (2) years of practical experience in the category. An individual who has a Class "C" engineered paving builder certificate of competency may automatically obtain a Concrete Placing and Finishing Category--Class "CP" certificate of competency upon application to the Broward County Central Examining Board of General Construction Trades.
