How to Get the Master Alternative Onsite Sewage System Installer License in Virginia?

Meet one of the following qualifications in order to apply:
- Qualification 1
  - Prerequisites
    - Be an employee, director, owner, or officer of a properly licensed contractor with a sewage disposal system (SDS) specialty
  - No education required
  - Documented qualifying experience
    - Have two years of full-time experience installing alternative onsite sewage systems, verified by one or more of the following:
      
      Alternative onsite soil evaluator
      
      Alternative onsite sewage system installer
      
      Professional Engineer
      
      Authorized onsite soil evaluator
- Qualification 2
  - Prerequisites
    - Be an employee, owner, director, or officer of a properly licensed contractor with a sewage disposal system (SDS) specialty issued by the Virginia Board for Contractors
  - Education Required
    - Have twenty hours of training approved by the board covering the basic installation of alternative onsite sewage systems
- Qualification 3
  - No prerequisites are required
  - Education required
    - Have three years of experience installing alternative onsite sewage systems, verified by one or more of the following:
      
      Alternative onsite soil evaluator
      
      Alternative onsite sewage system installer
      
      Professional Engineer
      
      Authorized onsite soil evaluator
- Qualification 4
  - Prerequisites
    - Have an interim alternative onsite sewage system installer or conventional onsite sewage system installer license
  - No education required
  - Documented qualifying experience
    - Have 18 months of full-time experience installing alternative onsite sewage systems, verified by one or more of the following:
      
      Alternative onsite soil evaluator
      
      Alternative onsite sewage system installer
      
      Professional Engineer
      
      Authorized onsite soil evaluator
Fill out the experience verification form and attach it to the trade license application
