The Utah Residential Plumber (RJP) Journeyman License allows you to do the following:

Engage in the plumbing trade as limited to the plumbing of residential buildings

How to Get the Residential Plumber (RJP) Journeyman License in Utah?

Meet one of the following requirements:
- Option 1
  - Pass the Utah Residential Plumber Theory and Practical examinations
  - Complete a 3-year (minimum of 432 classroom hours) approved apprentice plumber education program
  - Have 6,000 hours of experience as a licensed Apprentice Plumber working under the supervision of a licensed Journeyman or Master Plumber
- Option 2
  - Pass the Utah Residential Plumber Theory and Practical exams
  - Have 12,000 hours of licensed plumber experience working under the supervision of a licensed Journeyman or Master Plumber
