Texas Pump Installer Apprentice License

The Pump Installer Apprentice License allows the holder, under the supervision of a Licensed Pump Installer who has held their license in Texas for at least two (2) years, to:

• Install and repair well pumps and related equipment

How to Get the Pump Installer Apprentice License in Texas?

1. Be over the age of 18 and work under direct supervision of a Licensed Pump Installer who has held their Texas License for at least two years
2. Fill out and send in a Well Driller/Pump Installer Apprentice Registration Form with the corresponding non-refundable fee
3. Expect the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) to issue a license once the application has been fully validated
