Plastering and Stucco Category--Class "PS": The scope of a Class "PS" specialty building contractor shall include and be limited to the application of mixtures of sand or other aggregate, gypsum, plaster, portland cement, quick lime, and water, or any combination of such materials, so as to create a permanent surface coating which is usually applied with a plasterer's trowel or by pneumatic pressure to any surface, which offers a mechanical key for support of such coatings or to which such coatings will adhere by suction, and to provide key or suction basis necessary and incidental to the support of such coatings. A Class "PS" specialty building contractor may apply and affix gypsum lath, metal lath, or any other product prepared or manufactured and incidental to the support of such coatings. A Class "PS" specialty building contractor may apply Marcite to pools, but shall not erect wood stud or masonry walls. In order to be eligible to be certified as a Class "PS" specialty building contractor by the board, the applicant shall have at least two (2) years of practical experience in the category.
