Palm Coast is a City in Flagler County. Our Business Tax, Building & Code Enforcement departments are having monthly meetings on how each department is affected. We are posting signage in our office to let contractors know. New businesses, obtaining a Tax Receipt, we are letting them know they will not be able to renew, if they do not have the required licensure in upcoming Business Tax Year.

Does Flagler County require an asphalt paving license?

Hello Robert, Flagler County is no longer regulating Asphalt Paving Licenses. As stated on their Contractor Licensing Page, you must obtain a State Certified or State Registered License. To do the scope of work for Asphalt Paving, we recommend obtaining the state equivalent, which would fall under either one of these licenses: General, Building, or Residential. Below, I will provide you with the links to each license for more information on the books & courses we offer to prepare for the Trade and Business exams.

I see the Siding, Windows and Doors specialty license will no longer qualify in Flagler County. What state specialty license will I need to install doors and windows?

Thanks in advance

Hello Shane,
The license that we recommend to be able to install doors and windows would be Florida Glass and Glazing Contractor License for the State. We offer the books & courses to prepare you for the Trade and Business exams required to obtain that license. Down below, I will provide you with a link that will have more information on the license!
