Permit Fees

The value of construction for permits will be determined by the most recent published August edition of the International Code Council building valuation data, or actual cost of construction, whichever is greater.

Contractor Requirements

• Contractors must be registered with the City of St. Augustine
• State Certified or Registered License
• Liability Insurance (minimum of $300,000)
• Workers Compensation or exemption form
• If the job is over $2,500 you will need to submit a Notice of Commencement signed by the property owner, notarized & recorded at the St. Johns County Courthouse.
