The Underground Storage Tank Contractor License allows you to do the following work:

• Have a company in the business of underground storage tank installation, repair, or removal
• Employ UST Contractors

How to Get the Underground Storage Tank Contractor’s License in Texas?

1. Be at least 18 years of age or older
2. Meet the required work experience:
   • One year of quality underground storage tank construction, public underground utility work, or engineered construction from at least three clients
3. Submit the application for Underground Storage Tank Contractor License
4. Pay the required fee established by the TCEQ
5. Submit a TCEQ Core Data Form
6. Await for notification from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality once the requirements and the licensure process are confirmed
