Texas Plumber Apprentice License
The Plumber Apprentice License allows you to do the following work:
- Learn and assist with the installation of plumbing under the direct supervision of a Licensed Plumber
- Perform manual tasks, such as digging trenches, if a licensee is not present
How to Get a Plumber Apprentice License in Texas?
- Meet the following Eligibility Requirements:
- Be at least 16 years old
- Be a citizen or a national of the United States, or an alien or non-immigrant
- Submit an Apprentice Registration to the Board with the following documents:
- Send the Fingerprint Information (this is a one-time requirement, there is no need to resubmit if done in the past)
- Pay the corresponding registration fee to the TSBPE through their Online Licensing System platform
- Expect an answer from the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners (TSBPE) after the licensure process has been successfully completed
