The Mold Remediation Company License grants the permission to conduct the following work:

• Employ more than one Mold Remediation Company and Mold Remediation Worker to assist in the company’s mold remediation activities

How to Get the Mold Remediation Company License in Texas?

1. Submit a completed Mold Remediation Company Initial License Application Form. Registration process can also be completed online
2. Pay the corresponding fee
   • All company owners who own ten percent or more of the business should be listed on the application
3. Include a physical in-state location and the address for it. P.O Boxes are not acceptable addresses
4. Provide evidence of commercial general liability insurance in the amount of at least one million per occurrence, this policy must be maintained for the duration of the registration. For this purpose, the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) has created the Certificate of Insurance Form
5. Designate at least one Licensed Contractor to act as the Responsible Party for its business according to the definitions on the Mold Assessors and Remediators Administrative Rules
6. Await for the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) to give a response once the application is completed and reviewed
