The Lead Individual Project Designer Certification License allows you to do the following work:
- Prepare lead abatement project designs
- Develop occupant protection plans
- Make abatement reports
How to Get the Lead Individual Project Designer Certification License in Texas?
- Comply with the requirements set forth for Lead Individual Project Designer Certification:
- Send the Application Form and pay the fee
- Enroll in the Supervisor (32 hours) and Project Designer (8 hours) Approved Courses
- Meet the education and work experience requirements determined by the DSHS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture or a related profession
- One year of experience in building construction and design or a related field, or four years in design and building construction or a similar work industry
