Oregon Water-Treatment Installer (WTI) License

The Water-Treatment Installer (WTI) License allows you to do the following work:

• Connect potable water systems and indirect waste connections to:
  • Existing drain waste systems
  • Vent equipment

How to Get the Water-Treatment Installer (WTI) License in Oregon?

1. Fill out the application form:
   • Plumbing Licenses Application Form
2. Complete a work history document and fill out the experience verification form:
   • Plumbing Experience Verification Form
3. Sign an applicant’s affidavit and choose the preferred examination location
4. Mail or fax a sealed packet of all the previous documents to:

   Fax: 503-378-2322
5. Schedule, pay, and take the 3 hour 52 question open book examination administered by the Building Codes Division
6. Expect the license issued by the Building Codes Division via mail
