Georgia Renovation Firm License
The Renovation Firm License allows you to advertise, agree to, or perform:
- Lead-Based Paint (LBP) work
- Services on residential properties or child-occupied facilities
How to Get the Renovation Firm License in Georgia?
- Take an eight-hour initial training course
- Create an account on the Georgia Environmental Protection Division Online System (GEOS) webpage and submit the application. All applications and documents should be submitted only through the GEOS site. Any paper applications, documents, or forms will be accepted
- Pay the required fees
- Attach the following documents:
- Training certificate(s)
- Passport-size color photo
- Expect the Environmental Protection Division Lead-Based Paint Program to issue the license depending on the payment type chosen and workload. ACH payments are processed more quickly. Note that this may take up to 2 weeks
