Georgia Lead Services Project Designer License
The Lead Services Project Designer License allows you to Plan and prepare:
- Abatement project designs
- Occupancy protection plans
- Abatement reports
How to Get the Lead Services Project Designer’s License in Georgia?
- Comply with the education and experience requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or a related profession
- One year of experience in building construction & design or a related field; OR 4 years of experience in building construction & design or a related field
- Attend the Initial Inspector and the Project Designer Training given by an Accredited Provider
- Register for and pass the LEHA Inspector Examination with Pearson Vue©
- Send an application through the Georgia Environmental Protection Division Online System (GEOS) and pay the corresponding fees
- Attach the following documents to the application:
- A color headshot photo
- Training certificate(s)
- Work history/education documentation
- Exam approval certification
- Await for the Lead-Based Paint Program to issue the license depending on the payment type chosen and workload. ACH payments are processed quicker. Note that this may take up to 2 weeks
