Georgia Lead Services Inspector License

The Lead Services Inspector License allows you to do the following work:

  • Conducting inspections
  • Abatement clearance testing
  • Sampling for the presence of lead in:
    • Paint
    • Dust
    • Soil

How to Get the Lead Services Inspector’s License in Georgia?

  1. Complete the Inspector Training given by an Accredited Provider
  2. Take and pass the LEHAInspector Examination with Pearson Vue©
  3. Submit an application through the Georgia Environmental Protection Division Online System (GEOS) and pay the corresponding fees
  4. Attach the following documents to the application:
    • A color headshot photo
    • Training certificate(s)
    • Work history/education documentation
    • Exam approval certification
  5. Expect a Lead-Based Paint Program response before the issuance of the license depending on the payment type chosen and workload. ACH payments are processed more quickly. Note that this may take up to 2 weeks
