I have a GC license and I am currently allowed, because of the state of emergency to do roofing work. It is looking like some of my work will extend well beyond the end of 2023, I want to start getting my CCC in order to continue to do roofing even if the special status is lifted, how do I go about getting it? I got my GC in '96 so it has been a minute and things have changed. Thanks!

Hi Chad,

Since you are a licensed General Contractor in Florida, you will only need to pass the Roofing trade exam. We offer online courses and books to help prepare you for this exam. I will attach a link below with information on how to obtain the Roofing Contractor license.

Greetings. My North Carolina based company Eco-Panels manufacturers closed cell polyurethane foam core interlocking structural building panels. We can easily accommodate hurricane straps by embedding blocking in our injected foam panels and we can have designs stamped by a Florida licensed structural engineer assuming of course it is a good design. I would be happy to speak to anyone if interested.
