All persons listed on a license application must complete a criminal background check in the state of Arizona, which can be accomplished online through PeopleG2 at Licensing Background Checks. A Background check receipt is only available once the background check is completed. Once the background check has completed you will receive an email from PeopleG2 with your completed report. A.R.S. § 32-1122 authorizes the Registrar of Contractors (ROC) to check criminal records before issuing or renewing a license. After completing this criminal background check online, the results will automatically be provided to the ROC.
