If I Qualify Two Construction Companies With Two Different Licenses, Do I Still Use the Qualifying Additional Business Form?
If you are looking to qualify for two companies with two different contractor licenses in Florida, you will need to apply with the DBPR's CILB 6 Form for the corresponding licenses. The CILB 9 Form is only used to qualify additional business entities with an existing license that falls under the same category.
To become a Qualifying Agent, the candidate must comply with the following requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Show financial stability and responsibility
- Take and pass the corresponding state exam if needed
- Provide proof of work and education experience
- Submit background check and fingerprints
- Obtain public liability and property damage insurance
- Pay the required fee for the state application
- Complete and submit the application
