Terms and Conditions

Contractor Campus is not affiliated to any testing company or government agency. We are an independent school and bookstore providing exam prep services and books to contractors.

If you are dissatisfied with your purchase, you can return or exchange any product for any reason, at any time, no questions asked. A 20% re-stocking fee will be charged on all refunds for sales made on or after April 19th of 2018. If the books returned are tabbed, an extra 20% tabbed-books fee will be charged for orders placed after June 1st of 2018. Starting August 21st, 2018, any customer who places an order will have 30 days from the date the order is placed to claim an undelivered package. Upon delivery, the customer will have 30 days to report any missing or damaged items. Courses purchased after August 28th, 2018 will be refunded on a prorated basis. Within one month of the original purchase, customers can receive a full refund if they are unsatisfied with the course. After the first month there will be a percentage deducted from the full amount depending on the time passed from the original purchase date. After the first month and up to the third month there will be a 25% deduction (customer will only receive a 75% refund). After the third and up to the sixth month the deduction will be 50%. From the sixth month up to a year the deduction will be 75% (only 25% will be refunded). After the year, only store credit will be issued for the purchase of other courses. Said store credit cannot be used for the purchase of books.

Books have to be in their original condition in order for any refund to be issued. Refunds will not be issued for books which have been highlighted or physically damaged.

All refunds issued within one year of the purchase date will be issued in the original method of payment. Refunds issued more than one year after the initial purchase will be issued as store credit only. If the original purchase was for tuition then the store credit issued can only be used for the purchase of courses.

Due to their unusual nature, requests for refunds more than one-year after the original purchase date will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. The purpose of this evaluation will be to determine the validity of the claim and to avoid potential abuse of our refund policy.

Our refund policy is NOT a buy-back program. Refunds are issued only when the customer cannot use the books purchased, they are not issued when customers use their books and have no further use for them. We do NOT buy back used books.

Our refund policy does not cover book updates. This means that you get the current testing edition of a book (edition of the book currently used for testing) at the time of purchase. If the edition of the book which is used for testing changes after the purchase date, you must purchase the new version of the book in a separate transaction, if you wish to do so. The older edition cannot be exchanged for the newer edition, nor can a refund be issued for the older edition (current at time of purchase).

All students signed up on or after January 1st of 2015 have complementary access to their study material even after their one-year paid access has expired. This is what is known as "unlimited" access. This is complementary access period begins after the first year (the paid time period) has lapsed. During this complementary period refunds are not issued under any circumstances and study material has no warranty either explicit or implied. Any and all claims related to the quality of the study material must be made or brought up during the first year of access (the paid time period).

Our tabs are described by their manufacturer as “permanent adhesive”. We are not responsible for the damage which might be caused to book pages on which these tabs are placed.

Some proctors might not understand the difference between “permanently attached tabs” and “sticky notes” and might ask you to remove your legitimate tabs from your books. This is an unusual request, and it is an unjust and misguided one. If you find yourself in this situation, please ask to speak to a supervisor. If talking to a supervisor fails, we recommend that you always have a roll of clear desk tape, and put a bit of it over each tab (cover a portion of the tab and a portion of the page). Putting clear tape on each tab will force the proctor to acknowledge the tabs as “permanently attached”.  We also advise you to report the individual proctor to his/her employer.  Please note that some proctors are part-time or seasonal employees with deficient training on some aspects of your testing.
