Sub Contractor
The following are all trades you can apply for with this Permit:

Tree Removal
The following is a check list for the permit:
- A signed copy of the contract or proposal
- A site plan or drawing indicating the tree(s) to be removed AND the location of the replacement tree(s)
- Applicant must be a certified arborist or an authorized agent of a certified arborist
- A filed copy of a Notice of Commencement
Notice Of Commencement
The following is a check list for Notice Of Commencement:
- Description of property
- General description of improvements
- Owner Information or Lessee information if the Lessee contracted for the improvement
- Contractor Information
- Surety
- Lender
Permit Checklist
The following is a check list for the Permit:
General Requirements
- Current PCCLB License
- Permit Application, signed and filled out completely
- Copy of contract/proposal, including itemized cost breakdown of labor and materials
- Notice of Commencement
Remodels, Including Exterior Windows and Doors
- Asbestos Survey
- Product Approval Specification Sheet completely filled out
Roof-over, Roof Repairs, Re-Roof
- Two (2) copies of the Florida Product Approval Sheet(s) for each product used
Fence/Driveway/Patio
- Site plan or Survey
- Pervious v. Impervious ratio for changing/adding driveway, increasing square footage of existing structure and any other accessory structures or patio coverage
Smoke Detectors
- All new remodeling including changing cabinets, shall require the smoke detectors be upgraded to the new building and fire codes
- Contractor shall show the location of the new smoke detectors on the required ¼ scaled plans

Trades that DO NOT need a Permit
- Doors – exterior (interior doors do not require a permit)
- Flooring DOES NOT require a permit and may be replaced or changed without a permit, provided it is not part of a larger project that requires permitting
- Painting DOES NOT require a permit
- Screen doors leading to the front door DO NOT require a permit but a contractor must install
- Screen walls – installing vinyl or glass in existing screen area (NO PERMIT is required to replace just screens)
- Toilet – if being relocated or replacing the wax ring (NO PERMIT if replacing a toilet at the same location where one already exists using the existing water supply and drain)
