Volusia county contractors are wondering how they will be impacted by the passage of House Bill 735 in Florida. This article has been created to monitor and update Volusia county’s response to this new law. If you have any questions or information to contribute, we encourage you to post a comment below. All questions will be promptly answered to the best of our ability.
Volusia County will no longer renew or issue local licenses for masonry, prefabricated shed installation, non-electric signs, concrete, pavers, or stucco. If an applicant's license were renewed before July 1st, 2021, it would continue to be valid until September 30th, 2023.

After your Concrete Contractor License expires on July 1st of this year, you will not be able to pull any permits. If you would like to work in multiple counties, we recommend obtaining the State General or Residential Contractor License. Below I have attached two links about each license.
