Virginia Lead Risk Assessor Contractor License

The Lead Risk Assessor Contractor License allows you to do the following work:

  • Conduct and lead inspections
  • Lead risk assessments
  • Abatement clearance testing
  • On-site investigation to determine:
    • The existence, nature, severity, and location of lead-based paint hazards
  • Provision of a report by the individual or the firm conducting the risk assessment explaining:
    • The investigation results and options for reducing lead-based paint hazards

How to Get the Lead Risk Assessor Contractor License in Virginia?

  1. Fill and submit the application to the Board for Asbestos, Lead and Home Inspectors, with the corresponding fee to:
