A Utility Electrical Contractor is allowed to install, repair, alter, add to or change any electrical wires, apparatus, raceways, conduit, or any part of on underground or overhead electric utilities transmission, distribution lines, or distribution system within power plants and sub-stations. The scope of work shall be limited to the construction of electric utility distribution systems and shall include any excavation and paving work.
This exams tests candidate's knowledge of payroll taxes, workers' compensation, unemployment compensation, lien laws and other laws or subjects that will affect their daily operations as contractors. All contractors need to take and pass this exam.
The books set includes all required references for both the Utility Electrical and Business and Law exams. Orders placed before 2 PM are shipped the same day via UPS and a tracking number is emailed before 3 PM.
