Utah Apprentice Electrician License

The Utah Apprentice Electrician License allows you to do the following work:

• Learn the electrical trade under the immediate supervision of a:
  • Master electrician
  • Residential master electrician
  • Journeyman electrician
  • Residential journeyman electrician

How to Get the Apprentice Electrician License in Utah?

1. Fill out the verification of supervision of apprentice electrician form
2. Apply online on My License E-Government or fill out the application form
   • If applying by paper, send the document to:

3. Expect a response from the department
