General Contractor Updated Trade Exam Books
To obtain the Florida General Contractor License, applicants must take and pass the trade and business exam. The trade exam is a two-part exam, Contract Administration and Project Management. The Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) provides information related to the official trade examination reference list.
Book List for the FL General Contractor Exams
We carry the books for the Florida GC trade (Contract Administration and Project Management) and Business and Finance exams. Any orders placed before 2 PM are shipped the same day via UPS, and a tracking number is emailed before 3 PM.

Book List for the FL GC Business and Finance Exam
The Florida Contractors Manual, Builder's Guide to Accounting, A201, A401, and A701 is required for the business and trade exams. The only book used exclusively for the Business and Finance exam is Florida Statutes Chapter 455.
Florida General Contractor License Exam Prep Courses
Contract Administration and Project Management exams are included in our online courses. We also have the online course for the Business and Finance exam, which is mandatory for contractors regardless of a specific trade. You must pass both exams.
