The scope of work of an Acoustical Ceilings contractor shall include and be limited to the fabrication, installation and application of acoustic or fire-retardant acoustic material or plastic material to ceilings and existing supporting members by mechanical or adhesive methods. He or she is authorized to install metal channels, hangers and suspended systems for support of thermal or fire-retardant acoustic tile or drop-in units.
