Is there a Specific Order to take the Exams?

As long as you take and pass the exams, it would not matter which you take first. You are required to take the necessary examinations and obtain the passing scores. All State's Construction requires both Trade and Business exams. Depending on the scope of work performed will determine the license and examinations. Anyone with the specific experience and meets the financial requirements would be able to apply for the license. Below you will see a few examples of licenses and their particular exams.

  • Business and Finance Exam

Florida Roofing Contractor License

  • Roofing Trade Exam

    Time (hours): 5
  • Business and Finance Exam
    Number of Questions: 120
    Time (hours): 6.5

Florida Commercial Pool Contractor License

  • Commercial Pool & Spa Exam
    Number of Questions: 80

Exam Prep Class

To pass all your examinations, we offer courses to help you prepare. The courses are all online and include lecture videos and practice questions.
