The Third Party Limited Plan Reviewer & Inspector (SRL) License allows you to do the following work:
- Perform specialty code inspections
- Review plans
- Contracts limited to $10,000 annually
A Third Party Limited Plan Reviewer & Inspector (SRL) works under a designated state certified Building Official employed by the Division or the Municipality.
How to Get the Third Party Limited Plan Reviewer & Inspector (SRL) License in Oregon?
- Fill out the application form:
- Ensure that all the required sections have been completed:
- Application information
- License type
- Limited Licensed Plan Reviewer or Inspector (SRL)
- Test location
- Does not require an exam - SRL
- Qualifying certifications, must possess both:
- Oregon Inspector Certification (OIC)
- Appropriate Oregon Code Certification (OCC)
- Qualifying experience
- For residential structures only
- For all structures
- Submit the following documents alongside the application:
- Qualifying experience documents
- Send the application and payment either via email or fax according to the indications determined in the form document
- Receive notice from the Building Codes Division once the qualifications have been approved
- Obtain further details and a license issued by the BCD after the licensure process is successfully carried out and validated
