Oregon Solar Heating and Cooling Installer (STL) License
The Solar Heating and Cooling Installer (STL) License allows you to do the following work:
- Install and replace solar heating and cooling systems, including:
- Collectors
- Heat transfer systems
- Heat storage
- Associated piping
- Solar conversion of existing water heating or cooling systems
- Piping and related appurtenances applicable to the temperature pressure relief valve
- Can’t connect a solar heating or cooling system to a potable water source
How to Get the Solar Heating and Cooling Installer (STL) License in Oregon?
- Fill out the application form:
- Complete a work history document and fill out the experience verification form:
- Sign an applicant’s affidavit and choose the preferred examination location
- Mail or fax a sealed packet of all the previous documents to:
