Oregon Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME) Contractor License

The Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME) Contractor License allows you to do the following work:

Maintenance and repair of electrical installations in the industrial plant where the licensee works
Service electrical installations on systems of a maximum of 600 volts phase to phase in commercial or state buildings

The Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME) Contractor License DOES NOT allow you to do the following work:

Make new electrical installations
Perform work on services

How to Get the Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME) Contractor’s License in Oregon?

Fill out the application form:
- Electrical Licenses Application Form
Complete a work history document and fill out the experience verification form:
- Electrical Experience Verification Form
Sign an applicant’s affidavit and choose the preferred examination location
Mail or fax a sealed packet of all the previous documents to:
