The Journeyman Plumber (JP) License allows you to do the following work:

• Perform all kinds of plumbing installations, alterations, and/or remodels

How to Get the Journeyman Plumber (JP) License in Oregon?

1. Fill out the application form:
   • Plumbing Licenses Application Form
2. Complete a work history document and fill out the experience verification form:
   • Plumbing Experience Verification Form
3. Sign an applicant’s affidavit and choose the preferred examination location
4. Mail or fax a sealed packet of all the previous documents to:
   Oregon Building Codes Division

   Fax: 503-378-2322
5. Schedule, pay, and take the 4 hour 64 question open book examination administered by the Building Codes Division
6. Expect the license issued by the Building Codes Division via mail
