The General Supervising Electrician (S) License allows you to do the following work:

• Carry out tasks (when under an electrical contractor), such as:
  • Direct, supervise, make, or control the making of electrical installations
  • Direct, supervise and control the installation or alteration of an electrical service
  • Design, plan, and lay out work for the contractor employer customers and sign permits

How to Get the General Supervising Electrician (S) License in Oregon?

1. Fill out the application form:
   • Electrical Licenses Application Form
2. Complete a work history document and fill out the experience verification form:
   • Electrical Experience Verification Form
3. Sign an applicant’s affidavit and choose the preferred examination location
4. Mail or fax a sealed packet of all the previous documents to:

5. Schedule, pay, and take the examination administered by the Building Codes Division. For more information on the test, refer to the study guide:
