The Boiler Class 3 Service Mechanic (CL3) Contractor License allows you to do the following work:

• Installing, and/or repairing:
  • Boilers, which including both boiler and non-boiler external piping
  • Unfired pressure vessels by any non-welded method of attachment

How to Get the Boiler Class 3 Service Mechanic (CL3) Contractor’s License in Oregon?

1. Fill out the application form:
   • Boiler Licenses Application Form
2. Complete a work history document and fill out the experience verification form:
   • Boiler Experience Verification Form
3. Sign an applicant’s affidavit and choose the preferred examination location
4. Mail or fax a sealed packet of all the previous documents to:
