The Bridges (GF-2) Contractor License allows you to do the following work:

Erect, construct, alter, repair, or demolish any bridge
Overpass or underpass, culvert or ramp, generally used for vehicular traffic

How to Get the Bridges (GF-2) Contractor License in New Mexico?

Meet the experience requirement:
- At least two years of documented experience in the Bridges (GF-2) Contractor field.
Apply for eligibility through PSI©.
- Fill out the Qualifying Party Certificate.
- Complete the Work Experience Certificate.

Once the documents and the eligibility have been approved, schedule and pay for the examination.
- To apply online, the candidates must:
  1. Sign in or create an account on the PSI© official website.
  2. Enter zip code for exam locations.
  3. Choose the corresponding examination and add the social security number.
  4. Pay for and schedule the exam.
- To apply by mail or fax:
  1. Open and check the General Construction Candidate Information Bulletin.
  2. Fill out the New Mexico Contractor Examination Registration Form.
  3. Pay the fees and send the documents via mail or fax to:

Take and pass the following examinations:
- New Mexico Bridges (GF-2) Contractor Trade Exam
- New Mexico CORE (GF) Contractor Trade Exam
- New Mexico Business and Law Examination (PSI©)
After passing the examination, complete the Application for Contractor License and the Construction Industries Division Contractor License Code Bond.

- Contractor License Form
- CID Contractor License Code Bond
- Valid Qualifying Party Certificate
- Examination Passing Scores.
- Proof of Financial Responsibility Bond
- Proof of current New Mexico Tax ID number application with a registration certificate or official stamp.
