• High pressure
• Cannot perform construction or repair of a boiler

How to Get the Boiler Operator (B02) License in New Mexico?

1. Satisfy the experience requirement:
   • At least six months of documented Boiler Operator (B02) experience
2. Take and pass the following exam:
   • New Mexico Boiler Operator (B02) Journeyman Trade Exam
3. Submit a complete notarized package with the following documents and send it to PSI©:
   
   • Contractor License Application
   • (CID) Contractor License Code Bond
   • Valid Qualifying Party Certificate
   • Examination Passing Score
   • Proof of Financial Responsibility Bond
   • Current (within the last year)New Mexico Tax ID number application with an official stamp or registration certificate.

4. Once the application packet has been approved and eligibility cleared, the license will be issued via USPS to the home address provided. (Licenses are effective only for three years, and a Contractor License Renewal Form must be submitted prior to expiration during each cycle).
