Siding (C15B)
- Alteration
- Repair of siding
- Wood
- Aluminum
- Enameled steel
- Plastic
- Glass
- Construct the walls of a structure watertight
- Weatherproof
Insulation (C15C)
- Urethane
- Metal
- Glass
- Plastic
- Other material used for the insulation of buildings
Waterproofing (C15D)
- Rubber
- Latex
- Asphalt
- Pitch
- Tar
- Other materials (to surfaces to prevent water in any form from penetrating the surfaces)

How to Get a Nevada Roofing and Siding (C15) Contractor License?

Acquire a Nevada Business ID before completing your NV Contractor Application. Contact the Nevada Secretary of State to complete the Nevada Business License Application to obtain a Nevada Business ID
Gather the required documents from the Nevada State Contractors Board NSCB and submit them with your contractor application
- Financial Statement
- Experience Documentation
- History of past and current employment
- Copies of driver's licenses or government-issued IDs
- Provide a Signature on the application where requested
- Child Support Information Statement – Sole Proprietors ONLY
- Send a check, cashier's check, or money order payable to NSCB
- Background Disclosure Statement and Fingerprint Background Waiver Forms
Show proof of your work history by submitting one of the following types of documents:
- Four Certifications of Work Experience Forms (Certificates):
  - Total experience time must be at least four full years (1460 days). However, not all forms of work experience are required to each prove four years of experience
- Proof of transferrable military training and experience
- Proof of eligibility for Licensure by Endorsement. Applicants are advised to review the State Equivalency Chart to determine their eligibility. In addition, to be considered for licensure by endorsement, you must submit with your application a Request for Verification of License completed by your endorsing state
- An active Master's Certification issued by an officially recognized agent or governmental agency similar to the Roofing and Siding (C15) classification
Submit the Nevada Contractor License Application Form and complete it along with all supporting documentation
After the application has been submitted and work experience has been verified, await the exam eligibility form
Complete and pass the following tests administered by PSI©:
- Business and Law Exam for Nevada's Contractors (CMS)
- Roofing and Siding (C15) Trade Exam
Once NSCB approves the license, the applicant must provide the License Bond and workers' compensation insurance specified in the approval letter
NSCB will complete the Roofing and Siding (C15) license issuance and send it to the applicant's address
