Insulation of Pipes and Ducts (C1C)
- Pipes
- Ducts
- Related Equipment
Plumbing (C1D)
- Material and fixtures to create sanitary conditions in buildings
- Drainage systems for roofs
- Hydronic heating systems not exceeding 200,000 British thermal units
- Systems of landscape irrigation
- Systems to heat potable water, including, without limitation, solar equipment
- A permanent means to supply gas for residential and industrial purposes
- Pipes for compressed air, vacuums and, gasses for medical use
- Pipes for water and gas beginning at the edge of a building and ending at the utility meter for that building

- This Heating, Cooling, and Circulating Air (C1F) Contractor License DOES NOT allow you to fabricate or install cooling systems which use refrigeration as an integral part of the system
Pipes and Vents for Gas (C1G)
- Installing pipes from the source of supply of liquefied petroleum or natural gas into a building or a different structure
- Make connections to above-ground tanks that will contain that supply
- Configure of all the related vents
Water Heaters (C1H)
- Installation
- Replacement
- Repair
- Connection to existing lines for potable water and gas
- Venting and other incidental connections
Chilled-Water Piping (C1I)
- Fabrication, installation, repair and removal of
  - Pipes
  - Pumps
  - Valves
  - Other equipment used for temperature control with chilled water
- The provision of the Chilled-Water Piping (C1I) Contractor License DOES NOT authorize a holder to fabricate, install, repair, remove, or connect pipes to a chiller
Systems to Replenish Breathing Air for Firefighters (C1J)
- Replenish breathing air for firefighters
Industrial Piping (C1K)
- Pipes
- Equipment used for the transmission of:
  - Water
  - Gas
  - Chemicals
  - Food
  - Steam
  - Other substances for industrial uses

How to Get the Plumbing and Heating (C1) Contractor’s License in Nevada?

Attain a Nevada business ID before starting the NV Contractor Application. To obtain the Nevada business ID, an application for a Nevada Business License must be submitted to the Nevada Secretary of State
Accumulate the necessary documents requested by the Nevada State Contractors Board (NSCB) and submit them with your contractor application
- History of past and current employment
- Select the Plumbing and Heating (C1) contractor license from the official list of Nevada State Contractors
- Provide a Signature on the application where requested
- Experience Documentation
- Copies of driver's licenses or government-issued IDs
- Submit a check, cashier's check, or money order payable to NSCB
- Child Support Information Statement – Sole Proprietors ONLY
- Background Disclosure Statement andFingerprint Background Waiver forms
- Financial Statement
Present proof of past work history by submitting one of the following types of documentation:
- FourCertification of Work Experience Forms (Certificates)
  - Each certification of experience time must equal a minimum of 4 full years (1460 days)
- Proof of eligibility forLicensure by Endorsement. Applicants are advised to review theState Equivalency Chart to determine their eligibility. To be considered for licensure by endorsement, you must submit aRequest for Verification of License with your application, completed by your endorsing state
- Proof of transferrable military training and experience
- An active Master's Certification issued by an officially recognized agent or governmental agency similar to the Plumbing and Heating (C1) classification
Complete and send the Nevada Contractor License Application form with all completed forms
Wait for an Examination Eligibility Form from the NSCB once the application has been sent and the Plumbing and Heating (C1) work experience has been confirmed
Take and pass the Management Survey Business and Law Exam (CMS) and Plumbing and Heating (C1) trade exam administered by PSI©
With the approval of the license by the NV State Contractors Board, the applicant must send proof of Workers' Compensation Insurance and thelicense bond indicated on the approval letter
Expect for the Plumbing and Heating (C1) contractor license by mail once the NSCB issues the license
