The Elevation and Conveyance (C7) Contractor License allows you to fabricate and install systems designed to:

- Escalators
- Appurtenant controls
- Signal systems
- Devices
- Equipment
A Elevation and Conveyance (C7) Contractor may also perform the scope of work of the following sub-classifications:
Elevator and Dumbwaiter (C7A)
- Elevators and dumbwaiters
- Supplemental systems and equipment
Escalator and Conveyor (C7B)
- Escalators for the vertical transport
- Supplemental systems and equipment
Pneumatic Tube (C7C)
- Pneumatic conveying systems
- Tubing
- Supports
- Incidental or supplemental to pneumatic systems
Moving Walkway (C7D)
- Equipment to transfer people horizontally
- Preparation of the structure
- Work and incidental materials
- Supplemental to moving walkways
How to Get a Nevada Elevation and Conveyance (C7) Contractor License?
- Acquire a Nevada Business ID before completing your NV Contractor Application. Contact the Nevada Secretary of State to complete the Nevada Business License Application to obtain a Nevada Business ID
- Gather the required documents from the Nevada State Contractors Board NSCB and submit them with your contractor application
- Financial Statement
- Experience Documentation
- History of past and current employment
- Copies of driver's licenses or government-issued IDs
- Provide a Signature on the application where requested
- Child Support Information Statement – Sole Proprietors ONLY
- Send a check, cashier's check, or money order payable to NSCB
- Background Disclosure Statement and Fingerprint Background Waiver Forms
- Show proof of your work history by submitting one of the following types of documents:
- Four Certifications of Work Experience Forms (Certificates):
- Total experience time must be at least four full years (1460 days). However, not all forms of work experience are required to each prove four years of experience
- Proof of transferrable military training and experience
- Proof of eligibility for Licensure by Endorsement. Applicants are advised to review the State Equivalency Chart to determine their eligibility. In addition, to be considered for licensure by endorsement, you must submit with your application a Request for Verification of License completed by your endorsing state
- An active Master's Certification issued by an officially recognized agent or governmental agency similar to the Elevation and Conveyance (C7) classification
- Four Certifications of Work Experience Forms (Certificates):
- Submit the Nevada Contractor License Application Form and complete it along with all supporting documentation
- After the application has been submitted and work experience has been verified, await the exam eligibility form
- Complete and pass the following tests administered by PSI©:
- Once NSCB approves the license, the applicant must provide the License Bond and workers' compensation insurance specified in the approval letter
- NSCB will complete the Elevation and Conveyance (C7) license issuance and send it to the applicant's address
