Monroe county contractors are wondering how they will be impacted by the passage of House Bill 735 in Florida. The local licenses currently accepted by Monroe county are the trades offered at the State level. For example, Monroe county has a class license, and at the state level, you can also obtain that license. All applicants with a current local license will expire in July 2023. Hello Katherine, County licenses for Monroe County are no longer being regulated. After July 2023, those with a local license will no longer hold an active one.
