Fire Alarm Classes

  • Monroe County (Florida) Fire Alarm Contractor (GITS) Course

Course Description: Upon registration students obtain class material and a detailed introduction to the study program (same day you register!). Once the introduction has been completed, students receive access to class lectures which can be watched at any time; these lectures teach students how to solve typical exam questions. The student is also instructed on how to perform a series of exercises to develop an understanding of the distribution of information within the reference books. Tabbing of the books is conducted to help students find information faster within the books. Students are provided with hundreds of practice questions very similar to the ones found on the actual exams. As the students go through the program they have immediate access to professors who can assist them with any questions they might have; these professors are standing by morning, afternoon, and evening to answer any academic questions the students might have.

The courses are carefully structured so that each student can go through the material at his/her own pace, based on his/her unique schedule limitations, and study skills. Students remain in the program for as long as they need to, until all the exams required for licensure have been passed. The students also have access to in-person classroom-style refresher courses which are held all day Saturday and Sunday throughout the state at no extra charge to the student and without limitations. These refresher classes are not mandatory and the training can be completed successfully without attending them.
