Michigan Insulation Work (G) Contractor License

The Insulation Work (G) Contractor License allows you to do the following work:

  • Install materials for thermal insulation
  • Maintain thermal insulation systems and components
  • Sprayed foam insulation
  • Fiberglass insulation

If a different trade results incidental to thermal insulation, you can engage in its execution.

How to apply for a Insulation Work (G) Contractor's License?

In order to obtain a Insulation Work (G) Contractor's License the applicant must follow these steps:

  1. Take the 60 hours of approved prelicensure education course (this must be taken through an approved provider.
