A Miami Dade County Structural Engineering Contractor is an engineering contractor who has a qualifying agent with the experience and skill gained by not less than three (3) years as a general superintendent for a general building or a general engineering contractor or education equivalent thereto, or a combination thereof, and qualified and certified to construct and properly supervise and direct the construction of bridges, tunnels, overpasses, harbor facilities, docks, shipyards, bulkheads, retaining walls, seawalls, dams, locks and similar structures. A structural engineering contractor may perform the work of a seawall and small dock engineering contractor, a pile driving and foundation engineering contractor, and a concrete work engineering contractor.
