A Miami Dade County Fuel Transmission and Distribution Engineering Contractor is an engineering contractor, who has a qualifying agent with the experience and skill gained by not less than three (3) years' experience in this field or education equivalent thereto, or a combination thereof, qualified and certified to excavate for and construct, alter, repair and maintain transmission and distribution lines for liquid or gaseous fuels under pressure in welded pipes, including pumping and booster stations, valves, meters and similar components incidental thereto and restoration of pavement. The scope of work of a fuel transmission and distribution line engineering contractor shall be considered to stop at the metering device.
