Lake has not made any decisions on how they will respond to House Bill 735 which will be into effect on July 2023. Does Lake County require an asphalt paving license?

Hello Robert, Lake County does not offer an Asphalt Paving License as stated on their Contractor Certification page. However, to do the scope of work for Asphalt Paving, we recommend obtaining the state equivalent, which would fall under either one of these licenses: General, Building, or Residential.
