A Marine Contractor (Docks/Piers/Decks) is qualified to install, repair, maintain, or alter docks, piers, and decks of marine nature, and he/she may perform pile driving as well as other operations necessary for the safe construction of these structures. As regulated under Florida Statute, a person who has passed a competency examination as a Marine Contractor (Docks/Piers/Decks) may perform these or related tasks or may supervise persons in his employ in the execution of these tasks.
