The scope of work of a Flooring Contractor shall include and be limited to the fabrication and application of floor surface materials made of asphalt, vinyl, sheet vinyl, cork linoleum, parquet wood, wood strips, and similar pre-finished surface flooring materials which are prefabricated or cast-in-place. A Flooring Contractor may also repair, paint, and relay resilient tile floor coverings. As regulated under Florida Statute, a person who has passed a competency examination as a Flooring Contractor may perform these or related tasks or may supervise persons in his employ in the execution of these tasks.
